Peggy's Sewing Center in Centreville MD is a delight. Peggy and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean and fresh. Classes are thoughtfully prepared for and taught well. Questions are always welcome. I love the variety of fabrics, thread and tools available. She also carries individual patterns as well as books of patterns. I have been going there for 10 years and that friendliness, quality and cleanliness is always present. Its a great place to learn to quilt or to master a new skill. Peggy also has UnFinished Object (UFO) days where I love to go and sew undisturbed by meals, cleaning, etc. She also sponsors Quilt Retreat weekends several times a year. All in all, Peggy's Sewing Center is a 'don't miss' for your quilt shop list.
Really like this shop. Decent selection of fabrics and really friendly folks. Knowledgeable. I don't quilt as much as I used to, but if I did, this would be a go-to shop for me. Very friendly, warm and welcoming.
