I had to request a new lock and key to the mailbox within the apartment complex that I live in. I payed the service charge up front, and they assured me that someone would be out in an hour or two to change the lock and pass on the new keys. No one showed up that day or knocked on my door. I called the next day asking what happened, and I was assured that someone came out, and only forgot to pass on the keys. I then had to take time out of my workday to get the keys from the office before they closed. When I returned home, the lock had in fact, never been changed, rendering my 'new keys' useless to me.
This sort of miscommunication, neglect, and confusion happening in a federal office is completely inexcusable. Please, be careful with this office when requesting a similar service where payment is asked up front and the service to be given later!
